Setting up your account

How to sign up, configure your organisation, and get your account ready to use.

Sign up

Go to ittrackr.com and click Get Started. Enter your email address, a password, and your company name. Your company name is used across reports and exports.

Use a company email address rather than a personal one — it makes it easier to transfer the account later if needed.

Set your default currency

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Organisation and set your default currency. This affects how purchase costs are displayed across assets and reports. Supported currencies: GBP, USD, EUR, CAD, AUD.

Add your locations

If your organisation has multiple offices or sites, add them under Settings → Organisation → Locations. Locations can then be assigned to any asset, making it easy to filter and report by site.

Enable two-factor authentication

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA on your account. Go to Dashboard → Account and follow the setup steps. 2FA is required before you can create API keys.
