Adding employees

How to add employees to IT Trackr manually or in bulk.

The Employee Directory stores everyone in your organisation who may be assigned IT assets. You don't need to add every employee — only those who will be assigned hardware or software licences.

Adding manually

Go to Dashboard → Employees and click Add Employee. The required field is just the name. You can also add email, department, job title, location, phone number, start date, and notes.

Employee status

Employees can be set to Active or Inactive. Inactive employees are hidden from the assignment dropdowns but kept in the system so their historical assignment data is preserved.
