Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. IT Trackr uses a minimal number of cookies — only those necessary to make the service work and remember your preferences.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
Essential cookies are required for the service to function. They cannot be disabled. Without them, you would not be able to log in or use the dashboard.
Functional cookies remember your preferences (such as dark or light mode). They are not strictly necessary but improve your experience. These are stored in localStorage rather than as traditional cookies.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are visited most and how long sessions last. This helps us improve the service. Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies. The data collected is anonymised and does not identify you personally. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
The only third-party cookies we use are Google Analytics (detailed above) and Vercel infrastructure cookies. We do not use Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies, or any other tracking cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the service. Clearing localStorage will reset your theme preference to the default.
If we introduce new cookies, we will update this policy and notify users where required. We will never introduce advertising or tracking cookies without explicit consent.
For any questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@ittrackr.com.
